At first we are drawn into the whole mystery surrounding the suicide of her patient, then the story goes off on a tangent while Zee goes to take care of her father who is suffering from Alzheimers. Flawed, relatable characters, particularly Jess. She studied communication & illustration design at university, and haslived in Germany (her home country), England (where she met herhusband), and now France (where she vows to stay). Excellent book & great photos of Norristown, PA in it's prime. I miss those days of shopping the local stores along Main St. but never thought to take pictures. Did not realize, at the time, that the major shopping malls would cause a town's downfall....

This book is basic at best. Gordon Snider has written a story that team with adventure, danger and hope. Read the book and find hope for a more normal life.
